		Dennis DeYoung is a founding member of the rock band STYX. DeYoung has written eight of the bands nine top ten singles including “Come Sail Away”, “Mr. Roboto” and the 1979 Peoples Choice Award Winner, “Babe”.  STYX has sold over 35 million albums worldwide and was the only band to ever record four consecutive triple platinum albums.

Her audience grew significantly with her appearance at Lilith Fair, which placed her in the same school of female singer/songwriters Sarah McLachlan and Tori Amos. Alive @ 5 Presents Zydeco Night!

Once Alive at Five is over, it doesn’t mean it’s time to go home! Come back up to Pearl Street for a huge block party, Pearl Street Live! This week you will be listening to The Schmooze rocking it out from 8pm until midnight for FREE! The Schmooze has been making the Capital District come downtown and party for many years.
