Albany’s 17th Annual Columbus Parade & Italian Festival is one of the largest celebrations of its kind in Upstate New York, recognizing the contributions and the heritage of Italian-Americans, in conjunction with the national holiday celebrating the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus.

Parade steps off at 1 p.m at Ontario Street and Western Avenue.  It will travel along Western Avenue to Robin Street and into Albany’s Historic Washington Park, rain or shine!  After the parade, an authentic Italian Festival is underway by the Washington Park Lake House.

Throughout the festival enjoy Roman Riding demonstrations, crafters and food vendors, pony rides and activities for children!  Dance to the music!  Savor Italian cuisines!  Magnifico!
