REVIEWS:

2008 City of Albany Monday Night Concerts in Washington Park w/Lez Zeppelin
Daily Gazette Article (8/5/2008)
“Albany-based Ten Year Vamp opened the show with a powerhouse set centered on their originals. They are good - as individuals and together - and it was hard to watch them work so hard and only be the warm-up act. Singer Debbie Gabrione is more energy and presence… [Greg Nash] has the skills and concepts of a jazz-fusion drummer, his limbs carving every angle of the tune.
From the first beat of the opener they exploded. They stated with their work ethic that they’re serious. Some of the songs started with the members leaping in place together. Bassist [Tim Keenan] and guitarist Mark Rose don’t appear to be the jumping-spinning boy-band type, but they’re not above it either, and they don’t have to be. Their music stands strong, even when they covered Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” in their power-rock style. Gabrione mentioned that they play regularly in seven states. How good will they have to be to reach all 50?”
- David Singer, Daily Gazette (8/5/2008)

Metroland Cover Story (1/31/08)
“Ten Year Vamp don’t win crowds over; they own them. The next time I catch them is at Sandy’s Clam Bar in Glens Falls, where the atmosphere is like a European rock festival. Then, down by Poughkeepsie’s waterfront at Mahoney’s, the place is so over-capacity that bouncers help with load-out. Ten Year Vamp bumper stickers are smeared across the asses and pint glasses of the masses, and it seems right.”
- Bill Ketzer, Metroland (1/31/2008)

NYC’s Village Voice
“At the M.E.A.N.Y. Fest finals at the Knitting Factory, I voted for the tighter-than-my-pussy Ten Year Vamp and the completely off-the-wall Maslow, but some showbizzy Scottish band with bowler hats won, maybe because they’d flown all the way from Sweden just for this event.”
- Michael Musto, The Village Voice (1/8/2008)

CD On Tap Magazine (1/29/08)
“This high-energy kick-ass rock band is five years young but consistently outperforms bands with decades under their belt.”
- Megan Leary, CD On Top (1/19/2008)

“Drawing frequent comparisons to No Doubt, this act serves up modern radio rock with the style and the sass to back it up”
- BrightcoverTV.com (June 25, 2007)
